Building secure, culturally-sensitive digital infrastructure for Native nations and tribal governments
Explore Our SolutionsIndigenous AI, LLC is a Native-owned technology company dedicated to developing sovereign digital infrastructure for tribal governments. We specialize in creating secure, compliant systems that respect data sovereignty and serve the unique needs of Native nations.
Founded by members of the Navajo Nation, we understand the critical importance of tribal control over sensitive government data and operations. Our solutions are designed to support tribal self-determination, with flexible deployment options that adapt to each tribe's infrastructure capabilities and investment priorities.
Our systems are designed with data sovereignty in mind, supporting deployment within reservation boundaries when tribes choose to invest in the necessary infrastructure. We work with each tribal nation to determine the best approach for maintaining sovereignty over their sensitive information.
Our flagship product is a comprehensive Business Activity Tax (BAT) electronic filing system developed in partnership with the Navajo Nation Tax Commission. This platform modernizes tribal tax administration while maintaining complete data sovereignty.
Streamlined electronic filing for Business Activity Tax returns with real-time validation and instant submission confirmation. Taxpayers can file from anywhere while their data remains sovereign.
We advocate for tribal data sovereignty and design systems that can be deployed within tribal boundaries when infrastructure is available, ensuring tribes maintain control over their sensitive tax and business data.
Automated application of Navajo Nation tax statutes and regulations, ensuring accuracy and reducing errors. Regular updates to reflect changes in tribal law.
